Bitossi

Large bird form in grogged stoneware with hand impressed and spot glaze decoration mounted on stainless steel rods and base, designed by Italian master form-giver Aldo Londi for the Bitossi Ceramiche studios of Guido Bitossi, Montelupo Italy, circa 1955... 22-1/2" high overall (57cm), the bird 9" long, 5-1/2" wide, 6-1/2" high (23cm, 14cm, 17cm), and in excellent condition -- one chip to a white oval.
