Vivika + Otto Heino Celadon Paperweight

Vivika liked to call these "closed vessels" (a la Toshiko Takaezu -- she was always a little more cutting edge), but Otto calls them paperweights... this is a rarer V&O specimen, probably from the 1980s, in white kaolin clay, hand thrown with heavy drip slip decoration and the stunning celadon glaze by Vivika -- 2-1/4" high, 4" wide, well marked with the V&O stamp and in superb condition with original clay rattle intact (a ball of clay inside -- a feature of all Heino paperweights).
