Andersen Design

Andersen Design Prototype

Very early Andersen Design yelloware vase with subtle incised decoration and frogskin glaze with milky white interior glaze -- most likely a Weston Andersen prototype from their seminal studio days in Akron, Ohio, in the 1950s... just over 6" tall, 4" at the widest with 2" foot, 1-3/4" lip, well marked and in excellent condition, though there are a couple of glaze pops here and there... nothing out of the ordinary for a test piece.
