Vintage MCP Piediluco Umbria Pitcher

Exquisite and large Italian armorial majolica tin-glaze pitcher from the 1930s or earlier, with braid applied handle, majestic upright spout, and some very nice Albisola blue painting with chrome red color highlights -- foxes after not just the grapes, but pears, apples, pomegranates, lemons -- just beautiful details... 14" high, 10-1/2" from lip to handle, the belly 9" in diameter, well marked and in superb condition -- many glaze pops as is usual in antique tin-glazed earthenware, but all in great shape. No cracks, chips, glaze flakes or other problems.
